Puppies Versus Older Dogs

In general people want to raise a puppy rather than purchasing an older dog.  There are advantages to both older dogs and starting off with a puppy.  With an older dog you know what you are getting -- physical and mental health.  An older dog that you get from an unknown source, could be a risk though.  But an older dog that comes from a worthy owner, should enjoy a second look.

The suggestion in short is to not overlook older dogs when acquiring a Boerboel.
