The SABT provides a two-day breeder/appraiser course. The topics covered are numerous including:

It is a very insightful and interesting class.
Only a select few senior appraisers are allowed to teach this course. Due to this fact, it may
not be possible to offer the class regularly in North America. So when you get a chance to
attend one of these classes, do not let the opportunity pass you by because it may be some time before
another class can be offered.
Those passing both the written and practical examinations will be eligible to enter the appraisal ring as
apprentice appraisers.
The class costs $159 and includes the book, "The Boerboel, South Africa's Own". It is a 250 page hard
bound book with a multitude of illustrations and pictures. If you already have a copy of the book, the
price is only $100. Another benefit to SABT members is that if you attended the Breeder/Appraiser class
before, you may attend it once again for free. This allows you to stay current and update your knowledge
with no additional cost.
The last USA breeder/appraiser course was held in Atlanta October 25th and 26th, 2007. We are working
